First of all, it snowed yesterday.
Freak.
Earlier in the day yesterday, we went shotgun shooting!! It was crazy fun. There was a massive bear hunt happening at the time we were shooting though. We were a little worried that the hunt would go through where we were. Nothing happened, but it would have been AWESOME to see a bear being chased by a bunch of coon dogs!

Last night we had a winter formal at school! It was callled "Let it Snow" (yeah, since me, Sarah, & Sariah are friends with Jessie [the girl who put the whole dance together], we helped with the name. BANGO.) The name was appropriate for all the white stuff on the ground!But anyway,
A couple weeks ago I wasn't really planning on going, because I figured I wouldn't have a date (I haven't really been on a date since I've been at school). Hannah convinced me to go anyway and I could wear one of her dresses & we could go together! Both of us are in similar situations right now so it sounded like a good idea. I mean, who DOESN'T need a night where you just dress up and look pretty to go out and dance?
So Hannah let Sarah & I wear her dresses. Sarah & I don't really have formal dresses here because we don't do formals, really...haha.
So the night of the dance comes! I wasn't as excited as I wanted to be--the person that I really wanted to go with is pretty much MIA for the next couple of years. & even then, still, no one had asked me...I expected that, but still. Sarah had a date. It's a formal, you're "supposed" to have a date. But, I was still kinda excited & I tried to put off more than I actually was. I was GOING to have fun that night! I was going to make myself have fun.
Sarah & I were getting ready when Clint & Josh (they live a couple doors down. Clint is like my big brother up here--he really looks out for me, for which I am very thankful for him. & Josh lives with him, he's hilarious.) came over and Clint says "Yiselle! Come out here!" So I went out there and he said "Josh has something to ask you." It was like in High School Musical 3 where Troy & Chad are in the cafeteria and Chad is trying to ask Taylor to prom. It cracked me up. But he said "Do you have an escort tonight?" & I was like "Nope!" & he said "Would you like to go with me?" haha I was like "Awwwwwwwhhh!!" and gave him a hug and said yes. So...I had a date! :D It was fun. Clint came over a little later and asked what tie Josh should wear. haha it was cute.
So then we took pictures! It was fun! The dance was awesome :). We went with Sarah & her date, Bryce. & Hannah came with us too! I was still her date :) Haha.
